A THREE PART SERIES: PART TWO
How do we execute it?
You can use Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and/or Instagram to celebrate a customer’s new purchase.
This will require setting up an internal process at your dealership and making sure everyone is aware of their responsibilities.
Make sure you have permission from your customer to post their image on your social media.
Establish a location where you will do vehicle deliveries that will be a good location for photos.
Decide who will take the photos and with what device. We recommend a Wi-fi enabled tablet. That way, after the photo is taken, it can be immediately uploaded into your social media accounts and tagged. (Hint: ask your customer to like your page so you can tag them on your Facebook page and their friends can see it too.)
When posting, give a congratulatory message. For example, “Congratulations to Sam on her first BMW!”
The payoff is, your customers will share that post on their own pages. When their family and friends are ready to buy, they will take great stock in the positive referral they received from your happy customer.
